Bluetooth Router

January 7th, 2016 by

A California startup has introduced a router that can connect multiple devices and extend the range from 30 feet to 1,000 feet. While Bluetooth is a popular way to connect devices, its range and single device access has been a limiting factor. The new system can connect up to 22 different devices simultaneously and extend the range or connect through three interior walls. The router is based on proprietary technology, but it is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 and requires no modification or re-configuration of existing Bluetooth-enabled devices. In addition, users can extend access by connecting the router to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet. The device is 1.5 lb and 4.9 inches diameter by 7.8 inches high.
