Semiconductor Two Photon Laser
An Israeli high-tech entrepreneurial incubator has announced the release of a two-photon semiconductor laser device. The device utilizes mature microelectronic fabrication technologies to implement a practical TPL at a lower cost. The device was designed and fabricated to increase Two Photon Gain (TPG) and output power. The device has an active layer with a slightly narrower band gap than the two photons energy in an optimized waveguide configuration.
