On 22 January 2008, Washington DC area-based WorldTech International, LLC was awarded a one year (with one option year) Time and Materials contract by the US Army RDECOM Acquisition Center to perform Global Technology Scouting and Technology Intelligence Studies and Assessments in support of the US Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF).
